The Era is perfect for couples.
This charming little cottage is situated at the top of the village of Banastón Usana, near Aínsa, and very close to Casa Blas. The name La Era refers to the flat outdoor area of the house, traditionally used for threshing grain.
The property is decorated in a simple and beautiful style. Painted wooden beams create a stunning focal point and lend a cozy atmosphere to this small cottage.
The ground floor features a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, while the upper floor includes a living room with a sofa, two armchairs, and a well-equipped kitchen.
In summer, it’s a pleasure to relax on the spacious vine-covered terrace, which overlooks the small garden. The south-facing orientation of the house ensures plenty of sunlight throughout the day.
The interior temperature is regulated by electric heating in winter and air conditioning in summer.
La Era is in the same village as Casa Blas, Casa Nº 7, and Anexo.

Strolling through the striking vaulted passageway of Banastón Usana, known as El Callizo, feels like stepping back in time. This passage is surrounded by charming old houses, including Blas and Nº7. At the far end, you’ll come across a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the Mediano Reservoir. If you visit on the morning of the winter solstice, you’ll witness a remarkable sight—the sunlight streaming straight through from one end of the passage to the other.
Be sure to explore two more callizos in the lower part of Banastón Usana. The village itself is made up of nine distinct neighborhoods: Usana, La Iglesia, Santa Tecla, Las Cambras, Tozalete, Betato, San Ciprián, Villarcillo, and Buchitar.
From Usana, it’s an easy and pleasant 30-minute walk to the Villarcillo Hermitage, while the historic town of Aínsa is just a 20-minute walk along a scenic trail. In Aínsa, you’ll find all the amenities you need to complete your visit.
