BORDA ARTIGUETA

This recently restored stone barn stands alone in spectacular mountain setting at the entrance to the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park. Access is via the track that leads to the start of Ibon de Sen walk near San Juan de Plan. From village, it is a 10kms drive along a mountain piste, better to have 4×4 but also practicable by car taking it slowly.

On entering the barn, you have the living room and kitchen seperated by a high counter. A passage way leads to the two bedrooms with beds measuring 135cms. Each bedroom also has a foldaway single bed. There is a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Outside the entrance door, there is a grassy area with table, parasol and chairs. 

The electricity in the barn functions with solar energy. Gas heats the water.  The barn is available for rent from spring to autumn. 

From the barn, there is a path that leads to the Sen lake and another that descends to the village of San Juan de Plan. Either by foot or in 4 wheel drive, the track that leads to the barn continues to Plan de l’Abet then descends through the Selva forest to Viadós coming out again in San Juan de Plan. 

All the services are in San Juan de Plan and Plan: restaurants, bars, public swimming pool, health centre, chemist, shops, tourist office…

Entrance level:

• Kitchen- gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, electric coffee maker, hand blender, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
• Living Room –3 seater sofá, 2 armchairs, table, chairs, fireplace and tv.
• Bedroom-135cms bed and one single folding bed.

• Bathroom-shower, washbasin and toilet.

Outside:

• Grassy area with  table, parasol and chairs.
• Field to one side of barn.

Heating:

• Fireplace and a hot air blower.
