A truly magnificent stone manse built in 1689 stands in the charming village of Coscojuela de Sobrarbe, 8kms from Ainsa. The house has been lovingly restored retaining the original structure and materials, and decorated with exquisite taste using period furniture. A solid oak door leads into the entrance hall, where the central feature, a noble stone staircase leads up to the second level. On the ground floor, the former stable and bodega have been respectively transformed into a beautiful living dining room and a kitchen with an original Aragonese table. Both rooms have wonderful rounded stone ceilings as well as stone floors and walls. This floor also houses a comfortable twin room and separate toilet. On the top level, one rustic stone double bedroom with balcony, perfect for enjoying morning breakfast, looks onto the village square. A second bedroom with window seats looks onto the front garden. The remaining double room, which contains a beautiful antique oak bed, is accessed via the large former dining room, whose floor tiles were reclaimed from a former monastery. The original historical kitchen with fireplace adjoins the dining room. Guests can enjoy the garden with its aromatic plants and north facing summer terrace with stone table and benches. The house is heated by central heating in winter, while in summer its wide stone walls assure a temperate interior temperature. From this property, you can visit the former olive oil mill or walk half an hour to St Michael’s hermitage above the village. We recommend all visitors climb the tower of the 16th century church for a spectacular view of the area or walk down the stone pathway to contemplate or swim in the Mediano lake. A visit to nearby Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park and Ordesa National Park is a must for all who enjoy the great outdoors. Facilities

Outside: North facing patio for summer months with barbecue, stone table, low wooden table , wooden bench seating 2, 4 chairs and 2 loungers.
